Timeline and outcome data required for the CRANE 2023 Annual Report
- 30 June 2023: Data collection cut off for 2023 Annual Report.
- November 2023: Review of report at Cleft Development Group meeting (specific date TBC).
- December 2023: Publication of 2023 Annual Report (specific date TBC).
We will report 5-year outcomes for patients born in 2014 to 2016 in funnel plots.
For patients whose outcome data are available and have not previously been submitted, please submit the following information required for each birth year.

Key: “*” refers to summary information being provided in the Preliminary Report to cleft services and Clinical Excellence Networks (CENs) in April 2023. The Dental CEN will then provide guidance on appropriateness of inclusion of DMFT at 10 years in the Annual Report.
